"After looking for several years at various types of saddles, for my personal use, I found the Maxwell Hope Saddle. The first time I saw a Hope saddle I was immediately struck by the dressage type seat and the balanced position it would put you in. I was not disappointed when I took possession of my Hope saddle made in a western trail design with full tooling and silver. Not only does the saddle look good, and I mean really good, it rides extremely well and fits not only the horse it was made for but most others horses as well. I always look forward to a ride on the Hope saddle. Am I satisfied?....you bet! The Maxwell Hope saddle is the one I will ride for my lifetime and then pass on to my grandson."

| "I love my Hope
Saddle. I am retired so I can ride every day, and I needed a saddle that
was comfortable and lightweight. I have tried several saddles but none
of them would fit my Paint gelding. I finally had one made. It was the
Hope Saddle. It is so comfortable, and is a joy to ride in. I have been
riding for over 50 years, but this is the first saddle I have had that
really fits my horse and me. It fits my gelding, Boo, perfectly. It
doesn't slide forward or backward, or from side to side. It stays where
it is placed. And it is so light I have no trouble getting it on my tall
horse. (he is over 16 hands)
I also had a matching bridle and breast collar made, and the ensemble looks so good on Boo. Everyone comments on how nice my tack looks. Thank you so much for such a good product. My husband Harold rode in my Hope saddle and was so impressed with the comfort that he wants to have one made for him." Happy Trails, Joyce Redbluff, CA.

| " After riding an
endurance style saddle for three years and purchasing my second, younger
horse last summer, my husband Chuck , and I came to realize my new
horse, Dakota, (a Morgan) needed the best fitting saddle possible, and
equally important, I needed security. We shopped in Auburn for a 'ready'
made saddle and considered going to Lodi to do the same. But before
traveling all day again, we decided to check out your saddles. We
quickly realized your Hope saddle would be just the ticket. Not only is
it perfectly made and beautifully hand-tooled, my new Hope saddle is
absolutely the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden in. My horse
loves it too! Also the new breast collar that goes over his neck is
wonderful as it doesn't rub hair off his shoulders. Thank you, thank
you!"
Most Sincerely, Jeanie & Dakota Shingletown, CA.

| "I went to J.J.
Maxwell's to purchase a blanket. Thanks to my husband, I walked out with
a 'Hope Saddle'.
I was on my way to Mt. Lassen for a 3 day trail ride. Reluctantly, I took my brand-new 'Hope Saddle'. Well....it was everything I'd ever hoped for in a trail saddle. It is light, durable, incredibly balanced, and beautiful! It was the most comfortable ride I had ever had. At the end of the day, I could dismount and say, 'let's go again'. There is not one hurt in that saddle. Now, I am no kid, so for me that says everything. There is so much I'd like to tell you about this saddle but the name says it all, 'Hope'. You too will find it is the saddle you have always hoped for. I want to thank Joe & Cindy for sharing their God-given talents with us. I am grateful on every ride I take. Thank you Joe & Cindy!

| " Just a quick note to
tell you how much I appreciate the craftsmanship and detail that went into
my Hope Saddle. It's not just a pretty face! As you know, my first ride on
the "Hope" was a 5 day pack trip across the Eagle Cap Wilderness in Oregon.
Our ride started at 4000 ft. elevation, and from there we went up. After the
first 3 miles I was grateful that the Hope's beauty was not just skin deep.
It rode like a dream. We (my mare Dot, and myself) felt great during the
whole trip."
Thanks, Theresa LaGrande, OR. P.S. "The folks around the arena, where I ride, continually make comments on the Hope's beauty and design. Thanks for your wonderful work."
